Duet Wines

Naked Range Wines are currently distributed in four countries: Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Korea. In 2003 we introduced Duet - a new range that was exclusively available for our current and proposed international markets, but is now sold in Australia. Maintaining our reputation for visual delight, the Duet brand is striking, and the wines reflect the true nature of Australia – warm, bright and full of energy. The Duet Range consists of the Classic White 2000, the Shiraz 2002 and the Cabernet Sauvignon 2002. Also available for our international markets is the Naked Range Sparkling Brut NV.

Classic White 2000

The wine is a blend of premium white grape varieties sourced from selected vineyards in the Yarra Valley. Chardonnay is the predominant variety, with 25% Sauvignon Blanc.
The 2000 vintage was warm and dry. Good summer rains maintained healthy vines right throughout the growing season. The result is a well-balanced, crisp wine that can be consumed with a variety of foods.
The aroma has lifted tropical fruit characters and finishes clean and crisp. Enjoy this wine chilled as it reflects the true nature of Australia – warm, bright and full of energy.

Shiraz 2002

Parcels of premium fruit selected from the warmer regions of Victoria, principally the Swan Hill Wine District – make up this young, fresh and lively Shiraz. The 2002 vintage in these areas proved to be exceptional, where quality exceeded expectations, as a result of lower than average yields.

A full-bodied wine with a deep and dark purple-red colour. The bouquet displays fresh fruit aromas of sweet plum and liquorice. The palate is soft and full, with a good balance and finish. Hints of toasty oak character with a fine tannin structure.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2002

This Cabernet is made from selected wines from the Swan Hill Wine District in Victoria’s northern warmer climate. This area is noted for producing big full-blooded red wines.
This wine is no exception.
Deep ruby red in colour, this bouquet displays fruity aromas of blackcurrant and plum.
It has a fine tannin structure creating a soft but full experience in the mouth.
