Our aim and ambition at Jansz Estate is to produce wines of the
highest distinction. Optimum viticultural practices and an almost
perfect site allows us to grow vines that are low / medium in
vigour, and being cropped at low levels gives our winemakers high
quality fruit to work with. Without a doubt, quality fruit equals
quality wine.
The soils at the Jansz Estate vineyard are lean and boney,
recorded as being amongst the oldest on earth and with low
nutritional value, but ideal for producing fine, cool climate
wines. Enjoy these wines and experience the flavour, tastes and
aromas of the berries themselves.
Labels –
Naked Range – the outline of the naked woman’s figure is
very similar to the mountain range to the northwest of the
vineyard, hence we called it the naked range. Our Premium Estate
Label including selected parcels of Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Merlot,
Cabernet Merlot blend, Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc. Each
Vintage is accessed to meet the highest quality guidelines and
should they not meet the criteria they are used in lesser labels of
Jansz Estate.
Duet – the female images on the label represent our two
daughters
As part of our market plan, we needed a second label to compliment
our Premium label as our market wanted a quality Yarra product at a
lesser cost. Jansz Estate set even more stringent evaluation
criteria on its premium label to allow for the Duet wines. Fruit
sourced outside the estate has been used in this label but
currently it is estate grown
except for the Shiraz. Others wines include Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay.
Splash Label – release date October 2009 Bali Indonesia
Our newest label created purely as a fun, drink anytime holiday
wine. The need to have a product to fill a sector of the market
arose and a selection of wines were made available for its release.
Rose`, Sauvignon Semillon blend, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
